DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION Indoor telephone cables from 11 to 202 pairs, copper conductors of 0.51 mm diameter, solid PE insulation. The pairs are twisted into units of 25 pairs and these are stranded to form the core that is protected with aluminium/polyester tape and a PVC grey sheath. These cables are used as distribution cables within buildings and meet the RD 401/2003 for ICT. CONSTRUCTION • Conductors: Annealed copper, diameter of 0.51 mm. • Insulation Solid HDPE. • Cabling elements: Pairs. • Lay-up. Up to 26 pairs in layers. Cables with more than 26 pairs in units of 25 pairs. • Core wrapping. Longitudinal dielectric tape applied with overlap. • Screen.
