The manual transmission shifter by MTS Systems is designed to replace traditional rod linkages in cab over trucks and rear engine buses. It utilizes Cablecraft® low friction control cables for a maintenance-free and cost-effective remote shifting solution. The system is adaptable to various vehicle types and does not require cab or body design compromises.

• Linkage Assemblies

The system allows for easy routing of cables without displacing luggage space and enables cab tilting without disconnecting the shift linkage. It ensures a sealed cab around the shift linkage, resulting in less noise, a cleaner cab, and improved heating and air conditioning.

Customers are required to provide vehicle type, transmission brand and model, knob specifications, clearance issues, and preferred shift lever or cab unit type. For ZF transmissions, specific drawings are needed to show the shift control shaft's location and movement direction.
