The Combi-Dryer by Buss-SMS-Canzler is a sophisticated drying system designed to transform liquids into high solid content in a single step. It integrates both vertical and horizontal thin film dryers, making it suitable for various industrial applications.

The process begins with the wet feed product being introduced into the vertical dryer above the heating zone. A high-speed rotor spreads the product as a thin film on the heating surface. The pre-dried product then moves to the horizontal dryer, where it is conveyed to the product outlet. Vapors flow counter-currently to the product, exiting through the vertical dryer's vapor nozzle.
