Overview: Builtrite Trash Handling/Tamping Grapples are engineered for handling and compacting various types of solid waste. They are particularly suitable for waste transfer stations, aiding in loading solid waste into truck trailers, roll-off containers, or railroad cars. When fully closed, the grapple bottom is flat, serving as an effective tamping device to maximize payload weights.

Specifications: The grapples are constructed with high tensile steel for maximum durability and performance. Key features include 360° continuous rotation on a heavy-duty bearing with a high torque motor, a large surface area for optimal tamping performance, oversized hardened cylinder and arm pivot pins with replaceable bushings, and easily accessible grease zerks. Options include larger capacity arms and compatibility with various mounting systems.

Options: Larger capacity arms for more width and depth, and compatibility with Builtrite, Stationary Electric Material Handlers, or excavators.

Model Specifications: The THT 20T model weighs 2,100 lbs (955 kg) with various dimensions for height, width, and grapple opening. Hydraulic requirements include a flow of 20 GPM (76 LPM) for open/close operations and 6 GPM (23 LPM) for rotation, with respective pressures of 2-3,000 PSI (138-207 Bar) and 1,800 PSI (124 Bar).
