Application The Bucher Unipektin ContiStar feed-and-bleed ultrafiltration system has been developed for the clarification and extraction of fruit juices, wines, plant extracts and fermented broths. It is especially useful if the process needs to be fast and under absence of air in order to avoid quality deteriorations. Due to its large diameter, tubular membranes and the counter current diafiltration the ContiStar process is very efficient.
