Operation / Electrical Information Burst Alert Sensors operate in a “normally closed” electrical circuit with a polymer membrane supporting its electrical conducting circuit. When the pressure event (disk rupture / valve opening) occurs, the flow (gas or liquid) breaks the tantalum electrical conductor located on the polymer membrane.
