Product catalog summary
System Advantages
  • Fast and simple installation
  • Environmentally safe
  • Cost-effective
General Description

PETREX-CNT is designed for underground service in petrol stations, offering quick installation without welding, early completion, and minimal downtime during retrofits.

Construction

The system features a single-walled flexible corrugated pipe with a stainless steel inner pipe and polyethylene outer casing, providing corrosion resistance and a permeation-proof barrier for future automotive fuels.

Fields of Application
  • Suction pipes
  • Pressure pipes
  • Fill pipes
  • Stage I / Stage II
  • Vent pipes

Note: Usage is subject to local and national compliance.

Sizes and Pressure Ratings

Nominal bore ranges from DN 20 (3/4") to DN 100 (4"). Maximum operating pressure is up to +6.0 bar (60 PSIG) or below atmospheric pressure in suction mode.

Connection Method

Mechanical connections are available with oval or round flange ends, using either a classical threaded pipe type with caulking or a low-cost option requiring a flaring tool.

Installation

PETREX-CNT is supplied in coils up to 500 m, offering excellent flexibility for installation. It can be cut to required lengths and bent at tight radii.

 Datasheet PETREX-1

Flexible pipe system for automotive fuels in petrol stationconstructionSystem advantages fast and simple to install Օ environmentally safe cost effective General Description PETREX-CNT has been specially developed as a buried pipe forunderground service in petrol stations.Fast and easy installation without welding, early completion andminimal downtime on retrofits are only some of the major advantagesof PETREX-CNT. Construction PETREX-CNT is a single-walled flexible corrugated pipe system withstainless steel inner pipe and polyethylene outer casing. The stainlesssteel primary pipe is not only safe from corrosion but is also apermeation proof barrier that allows handling the future generationof automotive fuels. Connection method Mechanical connection ending with an oval or round flange end. There are two modes of making the mechanical connection: a classical threaded pipe type with caulking or a specially low cost one thathowever, requires a flaring tool. Installation Fields of application* PETREX-CNT is available ex works in lengths up to 500 m in coils. The corrugated primary pipe gives this pipe extra-ordinarily goodflexibility for ease of installation. PETREX-CNT can easily be cut tothe required lengths on site and Ֆ where necessary bent at verytight radii. PETREX-CNT pipes can be used for: ֕ Suction pipes Pressure pipesՕ Fill pipes Stage l / Stage IIՕ Vent pipes > * Subject to compliance with local and national requirements Nominal bore: DN 20 (3/4) to DN 100 (4ӓ) Max. operating pressure:up to + 6.0 bar (60 PSIG) or any pressure below atmospheric pressurein the suction modus.
