Power Supply MCS-40 / MCS-340

Description

Switch mode power supply providing regulated 12V DC (±0.5V) at 1.0A max or 24V DC (±0.5V) at 0.5A max. Suitable for 110-240V AC/DC mains input. Features electronic short circuit and overload protection with LED output voltage indication. Available in 11-pole plug-in or DIN rail mounting.

Description

Similar to MCS-40, this switch mode power supply offers regulated 12V or 24V DC output with short circuit and overload protection and LED status indicators. Designed exclusively for 35mm DIN rail mounting.

Power Supply / Charger Unit UCS-58

Description

General purpose 12V DC power supply with battery backup capability for lead acid batteries (3-12 Ah). Supports average load up to 1A with integrated charger and battery monitoring. Includes two relay outputs and LED indicators for mains and battery status. Designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting with a 54 mm width (half module).

Functional Notes and Recommendations

• Mains indicator activates when mains voltage is sufficient for operation.
• Battery capacity must be selected based on load and required backup time; performance degrades with temperature and age.
• Charging current is the difference between power supply capacity (1.1A nominal) and actual load.
• Output voltage varies from 13.6V (fully charged, mains powered) down to 10.4V (battery cut-off).
• Thermal protection reduces continuous output current to approx. 0.8A at 55°C ambient after 10-15 minutes.
• Battery must have an external fuse (max 2A).
• Battery disconnects automatically below 10.4V to prevent deep discharge and reconnects when mains returns.
• Aux output is isolated and short circuit protected but does not meet full safety isolation requirements.
