Open the catalog to page 1Stacking Factor Tester SFT 300 Function The total thickness (filling factor) of stator cores and transformer packages is tested. After the samples of electrical sheet have been measured and weighed, they are stacked to a minimum height of 6mm, then fitted and pressed between the jaws of a press. As soon as a pressure of 1.0 (± 0.05) N/mm² is reached, the actual measuring process begins. The distance between the jaws of the press is measured and the stacking factor is thus defined.
