Active power factor correction leads to high efficiency and thus significant electrical cost savings over the life of the equipment versus traditional and SCR chargers. The modular design simplifies repair in the event of any failures. Users can view charging parameters and a charging graphic on the display panel. Software gives the technician the ability to download up to 300 charging cycles to view charging parameters such as charging time, phase times, phase currents, phase voltages, maximum voltage and charged capacity. Anomalies can also be identified. Programming can be done via USB to computer, keypad on the display or uploading from a USB stick. All units have voltage drop compensation for battery cables, output short circuit protection and reverse polarity protection. Lead acid, NiCad and lithium batteries can all be charged with this technology.
