Active power factor correction leads to high efficiency and thus significant electrical cost savings over the life of the equipment versus traditional and SCR chargers. Software allows the user to download 300 charging cycles to view parameters such as charging time, phase times, phase currents, phase voltages, maximum voltage and charged capacity. Programming can simply be done via USB or the display touchpads. All units have voltage drop compensation for battery cables, output short circuit protection and reverse polarity protection. Lead acid, NiCad and lithium batteries can all be charged with this technology.
