Product catalog summary
Introduction
Marcryl FS acrylic sheet is a versatile, high-quality material known for its excellent optical clarity, weatherability, and lightweight properties, making it ideal for interior design, point of sale, and display applications. It offers a high gloss finish and is half the weight of glass, ensuring ease of handling and fabrication.

Product Range and Benefits
The Marcryl FS range includes clear, opal, and silica green acrylic sheets in various thicknesses, suitable for numerous applications in the sign, display, and building industries. Key benefits include up to 92% light transmission, good light diffusion, ease of fabrication, UV stability, and high break resistance. The sheets are also scratch-resistant, thermally insulating, and come with a limited 10-year warranty.

Typical Applications
Marcryl FS is used in illuminated and non-illuminated signage, displays, point of sale, poster covers, menu boards, store fixtures, glazing, light fittings, decoration, furniture, and interior design projects. It is particularly valued for its optical clarity and impact strength.

Fabrication Guidelines
Marcryl FS can be machined using standard workshop equipment. Sawing, cutting, drilling, bending, and annealing are all possible with specific techniques to ensure quality results. Thermoforming methods include vacuum forming, drape forming, mould forming, and free forming, with recommended heating temperatures between 140-170ºC.

Bonding and Finishing
Sheets can be bonded using solvents, cements, and adhesives, and can be joined with nuts, bolts, and screws. Routing, engraving, sanding, and polishing techniques can enhance the finish, with flame polishing providing a shiny edge.

Printing and Installation
Screen printing is effective on Marcryl FS, with protective lacquer recommended to prevent damage. Installation requires careful handling to avoid breakage, considering the material's thermal expansion properties.

Storage
Marcryl FS sheets should be stored in a dry area, preferably flat, to prevent moisture absorption and damage. Gloves are recommended when handling due to sharp edges.
