Two Dimensional Robots 15 and 50

Two Dimensional Robots 15 and 50

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Branson TDR-15 and TDR-50 are robust batch transport systems designed for ultrasonic cleaning. They feature a durable gantry, mechanical winch, and three electronic control systems, including a microprocessor-based system, PLC, and PC controls. These systems can handle up to 33 lbs. and 110 lbs. of parts, respectively.
Programmability: The TDR-15 and TDR-50 offer flexible programming options. Users can program the system using a hand-held keypad or by entering XY coordinates. The systems support up to 510 steps across 10 programs. Optional PLC or PC controls provide open architecture and parallel processing capabilities. All control systems use optical encoders for precise positioning and include self-diagnostics for troubleshooting.
Expandability: The systems can be expanded with additional heads to increase throughput and repeatability. Up to three heads can be integrated, with each head programmed individually. The standard track length is 10 feet, extendable to 40 feet in 5-foot increments.
Process Control: Automation with the TDR systems enhances productivity. The microprocessor system includes eight inputs and outputs for process control and integration with manufacturing processes. PLC and PC systems offer more I/Os and can interface with SPC systems. Speed control is available, with maximum horizontal and vertical speeds of 60 fpm and 23 fpm, respectively.
Specifications:
  • TDR-15: 120 VAC, 1 phase, 5 Amps, max load 33 lbs., max track length 40 feet, max horizontal travel 33 feet, speeds: horizontal 15-60 fpm, vertical 6-23 fpm.
  • TDR-50: 120 VAC, 1 phase, 7 Amps, max load 110 lbs., max track length 40 feet, max horizontal travel 33 feet, speeds: horizontal 15-60 fpm, vertical 6-23 fpm.
Standard Features: Both models include a four-point basket pickup, cantilevered arm, microprocessor-based controls, LED readouts, keypad programmability, self-diagnostic electronics, and communication capabilities.
Options: Additional work heads, external output controls, PC interface cabling, additional track, alternate voltages, remote PC connector, multi-program selector box, and PLC/PC controls are available.

TDR-15 and TDR-50 PROGRAMMABILITY The TDR-15 and TDR-50 can be easily programmed in several ways, depending on the control system. A hand-held keypad/programmer can be used to “walk” through the process, and the steps stored by simply pressing the ‘save” button. This process can also be directly entered using XY coordinates and the keypad. The maximum number of steps available is 510, contained within 10 programs. Optional PLC or PC-based controls offer the flexibility of open architecture and the ability to allow parallel processing of baskets with different programs. When programming this system,...
