These pumps are designed to fulfi ll the requirements of European Directive 94/9/EC "Equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres" (ATEX). They are classifi ed as non-mining products to group II, category 2G and 3G for use in gas / vapor / mist - atmospheres (zone 1 and zone 2) as well as category 3D for use in dust-atmosphere (zone 22).
