Wall-mounting inclinometer - 1

WALL-MOUNTING INCLINO GEOTECHNICS MONITORING OF STRUCTURES UNDER CON STATIC STRUCTURAL MONITORING WALL-MOUNTING INCLINOMETER Mod. BIAX The wall-mounted inclinometer "BIAX" is generally used in long-term stability monitoring of buildings, monuments and similar structures as far as rotation and tilt movements are concerned. Most often this kind of monitoring projects allow for a number of inclinometers and crackmeters, permanently fixed to the walls, as well as some temperature sensor (to evaluate possible influence of thermal excursion on readings), all terminated in a multi-channel data logger (such as our set of eDAS units), although they can be alternatively read with a manual readout unit. One (uniaxial version) or two (biaxial version) magnetoresistive sensors, having a measuring range of ±10° and linearity of ±0.2°, are enclosed in a waterproof anodised aluminium box (IP65), together with the electronics to condition the signal outputs. The sensors are powered by the reading (or recording) device and are available either with a potentiometric or ±1 Volt voltage output. Each biaxial inclinometer requires two channels of a data acquisition unit and a 6 - or 8 - core cable for connection. This version permits to simultaneously monitor movements in two orthogonal Inclinometers with capacitive sensors, smaller ranges and higher accuracy may be supplied on request. * Specifications and standards subject to changes without prior notice. sistemi integrati per la diagnostica e il monitoraggio Boviars.r.l. www.boviar.biz
