Product catalog summary
Bourns® Multifuse® Overview
Bourns® Multifuse® is a family of Polymer Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) Resettable Fuses designed for circuit protection. These fuses increase resistance exponentially under fault conditions, maintaining a 'tripped' state until the fault is resolved. Once resolved, the device resets to a low resistance state.
Applications in Automotive
With the rise of electronic systems in vehicles, reliable circuit protection is crucial. Bourns® Multifuse® products are used in various automotive applications, including under-hood applications, steering column control modules, alarm modules, instrument panel protection, power bus node protection, climate control units, DC motor protection, and window lifts.
Features and Certifications
  • Resettable overcurrent protection for enhanced reliability and longer part life.
  • ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001:2000 certified for quality in automotive product design and production.
  • AEC-Q200-Rev B certification for stress test requirements in automotive applications.
  • RoHS compliant as standard.
New Product Series
  • MF-RHT Series: High temperature radial through-hole products.
  • MF-SMHT Series: High temperature surface mount products.
  • MF-RG Series: 16 V radial through-hole products.
