A photocell activates the conveyor belt and hence the shrinking process (water shower). The shrink-packaging tunnel was designed especially for production quantities on an industrial scale and for large or especially long product formats. The shrinking and subsequent transport are handled fully automatically in an efficient throughput system. Cost-intensive production breaks are avoided thanks to a cycle-independent throughput system. Shrink-packaging procedure The ATT 1600 shrink-packaging tunnel has an automated conveying mechanism that transports the product through a hot water shower. This bathes the product, regardless of its shape, and so ensures optimal shrink-packaging results. The water cascade has a predefined temperature, through which the shrinking function of the shrink-bag is activated. Thanks to the collecting basin, the water is a constant closed circuit.
