Open the catalog to page 8General product description | Linear motion slides Structural design Structure of flange and coupling A motor can be attached to all linear motion slides with BASA by means of a motor flange and coupling. The flange serves to fasten the motor to the linear motion slide and acts as a closed housing for the coupling. The coupling transmits the motor drive torque free of distortive stresses to the linear motion slide shaft. Our standard couplings compensate for the system’s thermal expansion. For mounting third-party couplings, the thermal expansion must be taken into account. 4 Li near motion slides...

Suitable loads (recommended values based on experience) Considering the desired service life, loads up to around 20% of the dynamic characteristic values (C, Mt, ML) have generally proven suitable. In this regard, the following must not be exceeded: ► the maximum permissible shaft deflection "■* Page 18 ► the maximum permissible drive torque ► the maximum permissible load ► the permissible travel speed ► the maximum permissible acceleration Note on dynamic load capacities Determination...

Open the catalog to page 1211 For linear motion slides without drive SGO/SOO, unlike the SGK/SOK, there is no ball screw assembly as a limiting factor for acceleration 2) Speeds of up to 5 m/s possible. Service life is limited by the increased wear of the plastic parts.
