The polyamide yarn being higher in size provides the abrasion resistance needed to the reach the protection grade, while the polyethylene filaments grant the supporting structure to the sleeve. Spandoflex® xPA/PET-DP combines the high abrasion resistance offered by the polyamide monofilaments, while maintaining at the same time high flexibility. It offers a superior abrasion protection with an outstanding resistance against oils, liquids, fuel, and various chemical agents.
