Hollow shaft gearmotors connect directly to the driven load, reducing the overall size of the gearmotor, as well as eliminating expensive shaft couplings, mounting hardware, chains or sprockets. The hollow shaft flange mount can also eliminate the need for a support bearing on one side of a conveyor roller.
