BOA VENTINOX Chimney liner for low temperature heating installations, perfectly tight, welded The VENTINOX-HR hose is a highly corrosion resistant, flexible chimney liner, perfectly appropriate for heating installations running under low temperature conditions. The VENTINOX-HR liner has the right characteristics for applications working at temperatures below the acid dew point. With a global index of 41* the material used is a high-alloy steel (frequently used stainless steels have a global index of less than 30). Thus the VENTINOX-HR is extremely resistant against different types of corrosion, particularly against pitting corrosion, the most common corrosion type present in low temperature heating installations. A higher percentage of chrome and molybdenum is responsible for such excellent physical performance. It may be used at higher temperatures up to 450°C. *The global index is an empirical value which states that the risk of pitting corrosion diminishes when its value is >30. We however do not compensate for damages due to incorrect installation or installations not according to current standards. We also refuse liability for consequential damages, included costs due to work stoppage.
