ADVANCED DESIGN CUTOFF SYSTEM PROMOTES WORKER SAFETY FEATURES ■ Variable cutting pressure via air regulator to accommodate a variety of materials ■ Handles material sizes up to .100” thick, product height up to 10" high and sheet widths from 28" (712mm) to 57" (1448mm). ■ At the entrance end of the thermoformer, the cutoff system is mounted in a fixed position and can be activated to cut the sheet at the beginning or end of a new roll, or at an operator’s directed shutdown. The unit will cut at the next index cycle when activated. ■ At the exit end of the thermoformer, the unit is adjustable in sheet travel direction to cut at a pre-determined location. When activated, at the next index, the sheet will be cut to the preset length. This capability easily and automatically cuts programmable lengths of material that are consistent in size and easy for workers to handle. The addition of a cutoff system eliminates the need for operators to physically hand-cut sheet material with a knife, which promotes operator safety. In addition to safety, the system produces a straight cut, so startup is faster when introducing sheet to the infeed of your trim press. The Brown cutoff system can be located at either end of any brand of thermoformer, and can be integrated as an option on new equipment or purchased as a stand-alone machine. As with all Brown equipment, the cutoff system is designed to run with the greatest efficiency, and built to provide you years of service.
