Radiant Tube Burners 2320

Product catalog summary
Capabilities
The 2320 Series Recuperative Radiant Tube Burner offers quiet and stable operation with uniform tube temperature. It can be easily converted from gas to combination gas and oil firing. It is suitable for 5” (127 mm) and 7” (178 mm) and larger I.D. ‘U’ tubes or ‘W’ tubes and can be mounted on either leg of the tube.
Features
The burner is constructed ruggedly and can handle exhaust gas temperatures up to 1400°F (760°C). A low NOx air staged design is available.
Control
Gas-fired burners can be operated with automatic control systems, including high-low modulating or tempered flame types. Oil-fired burners require on-off control systems.
Flame Monitoring
Utilizes a U.V. Detector for flame monitoring.
Applications
Suitable for annealing furnaces, galvanizing furnaces, and silicon lines where combustion product contact with the material is detrimental and flame impingement is not allowed.
Burner Ignition
Options include manual pilot (application dependent) and spark ignited pilot.
Fuel Capabilities
Compatible with natural gas, coke gas, butane, propane, and #2 fuel oil.
Options
External insulation, low NOx designs, and custom designs with lab development capabilities are available. Exhaust connections can be right, left, or straight.
Specifications
The burner is suitable for operation with light distillate fuel oil or gaseous fuels with a heating value of 500 BTU per cubic foot or higher. The Bloom Retention Nozzle ensures quiet operation and uniform temperature by distributing air uniformly around the gas stream.
Ordering Information
Orders must specify fuel type and pressure, maximum capacity, turndown, control method, tube dimensions, ignition method, and any tube restrictions.
Parts List
Includes burner body, end plate, gas nozzle assembly, observation port, wire seal, hot and cold air tube assemblies, recuperator assembly, exhaust gas tee, orifice plate, gasket, and pilot assembly.
Caution
Improper use of combustion equipment can be hazardous. Compliance with National Safety Standards and Insurance Underwriters recommendations is urged.
