Hydraulic MRL Service Unit MRL

Hydraulic MRL Service Unit MRL

Product catalog summary
Overview: The MRL-H is a hydraulic service unit designed for machine roomless (MRL) elevators, facilitating remote servicing and rescue operations without the need to access the elevator pit. It includes various functional valves and components integrated into a compact body, allowing for easy external access.
Specifications:
  • Location: Can be placed up to 6 meters away and 5 meters high from the main power unit.
  • Ports: Return port ¼", Suction port ¼", Output port ½" BSP, Pressure switch port ¼" BSP.
  • Pressure Range: 0-100 bar (0-1450 psi).
  • Oil Viscosity: 25-60 cSt at 40°C (15-35 cSt at 120°F).
  • Max Suction Height: 5 meters with PVC-pipe inside-Ø6 mm; check valve recommended for pipe lengths over 1 meter.
Components and Functions:
  • Main Shut-off Valve: Keeps the pressure line closed during non-service times.
  • Slack Rope Valve: Prevents the ram from lowering when the manual lowering valve is opened below ram pressure/weight.
  • Manual Lowering Valve: Allows manual descent of the elevator car.
  • Manual Lowering Speed Adjustment: Enables speed adjustment for manual lowering away from the main power unit.
  • Pressure Relief Valve: Default setting at 100 bar, adjustable.
  • Hand Pump: Used to raise the elevator car during servicing.
  • Air Bleed: Releases trapped air to facilitate raising the lift.
Installation and Operation:
  • Connections: Output port connects to the cylinder line; oil suction and return ports connect to the main tank using polyamide pipes with a minimum inside diameter of 6 mm and outside diameter of 8 mm.
  • To Lower the Lift: Open the main shut-off valve and turn the manual lowering valve anticlockwise. Adjust the speed if necessary.
  • To Raise the Lift: Open the main shut-off valve, release trapped air by opening the air-bleed, and pump oil until it appears at the bleed screw. Tighten the screw and continue pumping.
Additional Options: Check valve and PVC-pipe set (2x6m) available upon request.
