SHRINK FIT HOLDERS SHRINK FIT HOLDERS Shrink fit holders are suitable for high speed machining and high accuracy applications. They are ideal for end milling, drilling, reaming, boring and other cutting operations. Shrink fit holder increases the diameter of the shank under the influence of supplied heat allowing insertion of a tool. After cooling, the holder is shrinking, while clamping around the tool, which allows accurate clamping and provides a high level of tightness due to action of the centrifugal force.
