Rust removal times can be accelerated by increasing the temperature. Temperatures of over 40 °C (104 °F) will reduce rust removal times by 50 %. Also ultrasound will support the process. As a rule, ultrasound will achieve rust removal times of 5 to 10 minutes. Environment The product works in the neutral pH range. It contains select ingredients that are easily biodegradable in accordance with OECD standards. This provides bio-chem BIORUST with an outstanding ecological profile. Moreover it contains no solvents of any kind and can be considered as VOC-free. After use no costly neutralization of the product and the rinse water is required. For the disposal of the used solution please observe the local official regulations. Application It is optimally suited for the application in immersion processes. Temperature or ultrasound will support the effect, thus shortening process time. Best results will be achieved at temperatures of 35 – 45 °C (95 – 113 °F). bio-chem BIO-RUST features a slight cleaning effect.
