C-100 Display Console Local monitoring of bin levels at the push of a button The C-100 console is an easy and affordable way to view level measurement data from multiple sensors at a single location. Just one console can display data for up to 120 sensors, making it a very cost-effective solution. Simply mount the C-100 in a convenient walk or drive up location for staff to access inventory data without going to the control room or office. The C-100 console can be used as a standalone device or integrated into a network that is also using BinView® or Binventory® software. Vast Vessel Information Measurements can be displayed as distance to product, height of product, percent full, and weight. The weight display function is derived using a Wizard type menu to estimate weight – calculated using the vessel shape, dimensions, and the product density in lb./ft.3 or kg/m3. One Console Displays Many Bins The C-100 console has one 4-20 mA output and remote start contact to interface one sensor to a PLC/DCS system. It also has a RS-232 port for future flash updates. The C-100-SB and C-100-R can interface with the C-50 analog expansion console to provide additional 4-20 mA outputs. The C-50 is needed when the console is used to monitor more than one bin for analog output to a PLC. Each C-50 holds up to 6 analog expansion cards, with each card providing four 4-20 mA analog loops. Up to five C-50 consoles can be used with one C-100 for a total of 120 bins. The C-100-SB is used with SmartBob sensors. As SmartBobs take measurements at timed intervals, the console will display the last measurement taken. A bob drop can be initiated between measurement intervals from the console to get a current reading. The console displays the status of the SmartBob during the measurement cycle. The C-100-MB takes the SmartBob RS-485 signal and converts it to a Modbus protocol for plants that want additional processing power to send data to a PLC.
