Comec-Binder Belt Filter Press NPC

Comec-Binder Belt Filter Press NPC

Comec-Binder Belt Filter Press NPC

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Comec-Binder belt filter presses are designed for the efficient dewatering of various types of sludge, utilizing a continuous mechanical filtration process.
Operation Process
The process begins with sludge being pressed by two roller-operated filter belts. A polyelectrolyte flocculant is mixed with the sludge in a reactor, which is then evenly distributed over the belts and pre-dewatered in the gravity zone. The sludge cake is turned over to allow additional water drainage. In the angle zone, the belts converge to apply slight pressure, preparing the sludge for the alternating pressure zone where increasing pressure is applied for maximum dewatering. Doctor blades remove the dewatered sludge at the outlet, and high-pressure nozzles clean the belts. Pneumatic units ensure belt centering and tensioning.
Features and Customization
Comec-Binder offers customizable equipment and production lines to match corporate design preferences. The features and sizes are subject to change for commercial and technical reasons.

TASK SOLUTION Comec-Binder belt filter presses are used for the dewatering of highly diverse types of sludge. The operation of Comec-Binder belt filter presses is based on continuous mechanical filtration. The sludge is first pressed by two roller-operated filter belts and then mixed in the sludge reactor with a polyelectrolyte flocculant. The sludge is distributed evenly over the width of the belts and pre-dewatered in the gravity zone. In a subsequent step, the sludge cake is turned over, enabling additional water to drain out when the cake is crushed. In the ensuing angle zone, the belts converge...
