How it Works MOTORS AND CONTROLS A stepper motor is a motor whose normal shaft motion consists of discrete angular movements of essentially uniform magnitude when driven from a sequentially switched DC power supply. A stepper motor is a digital input-output device. It is well-suited to applications where control signals appear as digital pulses rather than analog voltages. How to Specify Specifications and Sizing Drive Option (Y and Z) Bimba DRV drives are the simplest OEM control solution. Drives are shipped matched to and configured for the actuator purchased.
