Injection unit Two-platen clamping system Operating principle Two low volume motion cylinders displace the moving platen and the associated tiebars, until the mould is fully closed. The locking collets are engaged in the undercuts on the tiebars. The four clamping cylinders apply the locking force hydraulically. The locking force is controlled in closed loop.
