BL Lubricator Motor-driven, Fluid Grease General The BL Lubricator is a motor driven gear pump available with either a 12 or 24 VDC motor. These lubricators are fitted to 3 liter reservoirs and are designed primarily for use with mobile equipment. BL Lubricators are normally used in conjunction with VXLO Indirect Injectors mounted throughout the distribution network. A remote controller (SMDC, sold separately) is used to program and monitor lubrication intervals. Multiple points of lubrication can be achieved with this gear pump using NLGI grade 00 and NLGI grade 000 greases. Operation Power to the motor drives the gear pump which delivers fluid grease to the distribution system. Pressure is limited to 580 psi (40 bar) by way of an internal relief valve. Once proper system pressure is obtained (by pressure switch activation or programmed run time) the motor and gear pump is stopped, allowing system pressure to vent through the pumps control valve.
