AeroFlow Lubricator

AeroFlow Lubricator

AeroFlow Lubricator

Product catalog summary
General Overview: AeroFlow Lubricators are pneumatically actuated piston pumps designed for single line parallel injector systems. They connect to a compressed air supply and are controlled by a remote timer/controller or an air actuated brake counter. The system includes a piston pump, check valves, and a clear reservoir for monitoring grease levels.
Applications: Suitable for mobile transport vehicles, trailers, small off-road construction equipment, and industrial applications like packaging, food processing, and plastics machinery where compressed air is available.
Operation: Air pressure moves the main piston, pressurizing the grease chamber and closing the suction channel. Grease is discharged through an outlet check valve. Once optimal pressure is reached, air is exhausted, allowing the piston to return and the system to reset for the next cycle.
Features: The lubricator is economical, lightweight, and designed for trouble-free operation. It includes a spring-loaded reservoir follower and a quick coupling for easy refilling.
Technical Data: Reservoir capacities are 2 liters (4 lb) and 4 liters (8 lb). It supports grease NLGI grade 000-0, with a maximum inlet air pressure of 160 psi and a pressure ratio of 9:1. Operating temperature ranges from -13°F to 176°F.
Ordering Information: Specify the AeroFlow Lubricator by name, reservoir capacity, and part number. Accessories include solenoids, wire assemblies, and fill connectors.
System Design Verification: Instructions are provided to verify that the lubricator discharge meets system requirements, including calculations for total discharge volume and system requirements.
Service Parts: Lists rebuild kits, O-rings, piston seals, and other components for maintenance and repair.
Dimensional Schematics: Provides measurements for the 2-liter and 4-liter reservoir versions, with details on grease outlet and air inlet dimensions.

AeroFlow Lubricator-1

AeroFlow Lubricator Injector Systems, Fluid Grease General AeroFlow Lubricators are pneumatically actuated piston pumps designed for use with single line parallel injector systems. These lubricators are normally connected to the compressed air supply found on the machinery or vehicle being lubricated. Cycle times are controlled via a remote timer/ controller or an air actuated brake counter. When using the remote timer/controller, the lubricator’s air supply is controlled by a 3/2-way electric solenoid valve. AeroFlow Lubricators come complete with a single acting piston pump, check valves and an impact-resistant clear reservoir for visually monitoring grease levels. Application Typical applications for AeroFlow Lubricators range from mobile transport vehicles and trailers to small off-road construction equipment. This economical lubricator is also suitable for industrial applications, including, but not limited to: packaging, food processing and plastics machinery where a compressed air supply is available. Refer to the following datasheets: + Datasheet #35549: GXL Injectors & Manifolds + Datasheet #35744: Fill Pumps + Datasheet #35550: Brake Counter Air introduced to the lubricator’s air inlet cylinder forces the main piston upward, applying pressure to the grease stored in chamber. The pressurized chamber forces a apper valve against its seat. The suction channel to the reservoir is thereby closed. Grease is discharged from the chamber through an outlet check valve to the main line of the system and onto a network of grease injectors. Pressure at the return valve prevents the main line from venting through the return channel. + Datasheet #46911: SMDC Controller Once optimum pressure is obtained via a timed setting or pressure switch detection, air is exhausted from the air inlet cylinder allowing the spring to return the main piston. At this time the apper valve is released and grease is drawn back into the discharge chamber from the reservoir. The main line is vented through the return valve allowing the injectors to reset, ready for the next discharge cycle.
