Cleantec® Extraction Technology the effective way to eliminate dust & fume hazards MINI CLEANTEC® RANGE HEALTH & SAFETY Bigneat Mini Cleantec systems are designed to solve your fume, dust and odour problems at the press of a switch. Local extraction and filtration efficiently removes low volumes of hazardous materials at source; the systems are easily installed and can be readily moved. Dust and fumes released into the working environment from commonly used raw materials during processing may be hazardous to health. It is imperative that all personnel are protected from exposure to any potential health hazards. The Cleantec system, combined with the use of the correct PPE and used as part of a comprehensive safety routine, offer a cost-effective solution to ensuring operator safety. EFFICIENCY IN THE WORKPLACE Cleantec systems enhance productivity in the laboratory and workplace by efficiently removing dusts and odours directly from the source. Mini Cleantec 100 — Example configuration using 2x32mm flexible arms with optional domed and clear flanged hoods, semi-permanent fixture to bench THE PURIFICATION PROCESS Mini Cleantec systems are compact yet can handle large air volumes (refer to specifications overleaf). The contaminated air is drawn into the Cleantec by a centrifugal fan through the hose connection on the lid; after passing through the filtration stages, the clean air is discharged by the fan into the room. Mini Cleantec 100 — Example of mobile configuration with 50mm jointed arm and metal conical cowl Years of research have enabled Bigneat to develop a range of carbon filters with highly efficient absorption characteristics providing high loading capacities for a wide selection of chemical fumes. Two standard Mini Cleantec models are available. The Mini 100 is ideal for lighter duties in laboratory or educational areas and is available as a mobile unit (see illustration). Refer to the specification table on the reverse to select the filter you require or use our Free Assessment Service. The Mini 200 has increased flow and filter capacity for heavy loading applications, with the option of an additional highcapacity pre-filter system. Select the appropriate HEPA, Carbon or Combination filter, choose from our range of 32mm diameter flexible arms or 50mm diameter jointed arms complete with manual flow control dampers and a nozzle, hood or cowl to match your personal requirements. Alternatively, you can connect a Cleantec unit to your process equipment or custom enclosure via our 50mm, 80mm or 100mm diameter flexible hose kits.
