The new B700 range ofmachines equipped with three turrets and fourteen axes is the latest product developedby BIGLIA in the field ofhigh-performance twin-spindle bar turning centres. The three turrets can performsimultaneous machining usingthree tools at the same time, thus reducing cycle time drastically. The combination of 36 live tool stations, 3 Y-axes,2 C-axes and the possibility toaccept up to 50 tools enables the complete machining of complex parts with the highest flexibility. The B700 models can feature45 mm (B745) and 65 mm (B765) bar capacity. The compact structure madeof the cast-iron machine bedassures stability and rigidity in extremely heavy and accurate machining operations. The finished parts can beunloaded from both the main and sub-spindle. This unloading system is completely CNCcontrolled. Thanks to the architecture of the B700 range of machines, BIGLIAcan achieve newcompetitive goals in bar machining of complex parts in medium-sized batches.The new B700 range comprises a wide range of alternative specifications and functions tomatch customers specificrequirements and to enable flexible machining operations to be completed on a single machining centre. >
