Design and Redundancy
The framework is covered with painted or stainless steel and black kick plates, featuring concave and convex forms, stainless steel cladding, and optional paint colors. It includes an electrical soft starter or optional frequency inverter, optional infill materials, and optional redundant drive. The running direction is anti-clockwise. Carousels with multiple drive units can continue operation with reduced capacity if one drive section fails, thanks to the self-adjusting friction drive that minimizes wear and tear, contributing to low maintenance requirements.
