Pressurematic

Pressurematic

Product catalog summary
Description: The Bettis Pressurematic® line includes pressure sensory devices designed to monitor pipeline or process pressure, suitable for high and low pressure shutdown applications using pneumatic or hydraulic signals. Set points are determined by piston size, spring rate, and trip mechanism adjustments.
Features: The devices convert pressure into motion via a spring-loaded piston, activating a pilot valve at a set point. They offer repeatability of ±2% of the set point, field-adjustable set points, manual or automatic reset, and extended sensing pressure capability. The devices are constructed with aluminum housing and stainless steel or Impreglon™ coated carbon steel bodies, with maximum working pressures up to 6000 psig and temperature limits from -50°F to +392°F.
Model Designation: Models are designated based on reset type (auto or manual), series (2000, 2200, 2400), and body material (carbon steel, low temp NACE, stainless steel NACE). The series selection depends on the required pressure span between high and low set points.
Construction: The pilot valve includes supply, signal, and exhaust ports, with adjustments for high and low trip points. The hex body contains a range spring, and the piston senses pressure.
Typical Schematics: Schematics illustrate field connections and recommended options for different reset types and operators.
ISO-Test Valve: The Isolation Test Valve allows calibration without shutting down the flow line. It features easy installation, quarter-turn operation, and a blow-out proof stem. Options include flanged process connections and stainless steel body and cap.
Specifications: The ISO-20 and ISO-60 models have maximum working pressures of 3000 and 6000 PSIG, respectively, with temperature ranges from -50°F to 150°F. They include sensor and process connections with side connections.
Ordering Information: Selection requires information on sensed media, service conditions, pressure limits, temperature ranges, and special requirements.
Contact Information: The document provides contact details for Emerson Process Management facilities across various regions worldwide.

Description The Bettis Pressurematic® line of pressure sensory devices are used to monitor pipeline or process pressure. They are suitable for use in high and low pressure shut down applications utilizing either a pneumatic or hydraulic signal. Set points are determined by piston size, spring rate and adjustments to the trip mechanism. • • • • Input is pipeline or process pressure. Output is pneumatic or hydraulic signal, responding to high and/or low pressure conditions. A spring loaded piston converts pressure into motion, activating a pilot valve when a pre-determined set point is reached....

PILOT VALVE: P-AR shown SUPPLY PORT SIGNAL PORT: Common with supply when pilot valve spool up. Common with exhaust when pilot valve spool down. EXHAUST PORT HIGH TRIP ADJUSTMENT: Turn CW (viewed from below) to increase high set point. PILOT VALVE SPOOL TRIP SPRING: Acts on pilot valve spool. LOW TRIP ADJUSTMENT: Turn CW (viewed from above) to increase low set point. PISTON ROD: Moves upward with increasing pressure. RANGE SCREW: Turn CW (viewed from above) to increase range limits. HEX BODY: Contains range spring. Heavier spring increases range limits. PISTON (not visible): Senses pressure. Smaller...

ISO – Test Valve Description The Isolation Test Valve, when used with our Pressurematic pressure sensing device, enables calibration of the pressure pilot or pressure switch without shutting down the flow line. Features • Flats on body for easy installation. • Quarter-turn operation, handle indicates position. • Handle allows padlocking in either the open or closed position. • Compact, safe, blow-out proof stem. Cannot be removed when valve is under pressure. • Spring loaded stem seal automatically compensates for normal wear as well as seal expansion and contraction due to temperature fluctuations....
