Description: PP/1440 is a polyester putty designed for filling dents with excellent adhesion to various metals and polyester. It is characterized by its lightweight nature, ease of application, smooth finish, and absence of pores. It is also easy to sand, even after two days, and offers high yield and great filling capacity.
Preparation of Surface: The surface must be deoxidized and free of grease, with prior sanding recommended. Avoid using putty on wash or phosphatant primers and thermoplastic topcoats. It can be recoated with SINNEK PF or PW Primer Filler.
Application: Mix 2-3% hardener by weight. Application thickness ranges from 1000-3000 microns using a spatula. Sanding should be done with an orbit sander using specified grit sizes for initial and final sanding. Drying time varies with infrared drying using middle wave.
Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight, at temperatures above 5ºC, ideally between 15-30ºC. The product complies with European Norm 2004/42/CE II(B) with VOC content less than 250g/l.
