The S130 AVR is the result of the most sophisticated technology offered by electronics . It makes possible the feeding of stator exciting units or rotor exciting units for 25 A , at values of nominal voltage up to 100 Volts, and it can therefore be used on most machines available on the market. It guarantees the optimum performance of alternators, be they charged, uncharged or in transition phase, in particular during the breakaway of asynchronous motors. It ensures safe protection against persistent over voltage and over load perturbation. All the components are resinfinished in order to warrant long lasting reliability in any environment and avoid damage caused by vibrations. The S 130 is cased in a strong plastic box. It is furthermore supplied with insulated electric clamps connection and internal fuse block, complete with an highspeed fuse as protection against short circuits. PERFORMANCE The new S130 AVR is suitable for every type of alternator, and it ensures a high current (25 A) in a very low dimension. It is complete with over-voltage protection (displayed by a yellow led), and under frequency protection (displayed by a red led). During the first step the voltage increases proportionally with the frequency, to get the under frequency set normal ( the starting point of the low-turns protection trimmer is 20% less of frequency normal value, and this function can be jumped between 50/60 Hz); and from this point on, also the voltage goes immediately to the nominal value. If different voltage or frequency is needed , BELTRAME c.s.e can supply the regulator according to the feeding value desired by the customer. Starting from 2V minimum self excitation, voltage approaches the nominal value only when the frequency equals the trimmer set value (Hz), and then remains steady onto the nominal value.
