Product catalog summary
Description:
The document outlines the specifications and features of the BAYARD Series H1 10 NOREPOL EA check valve, designed to protect drinking water networks from backflow of polluted water. It complies with standard local authority sanitary regulations, ensuring the prevention of backflow through an approved and regularly maintained device.

Reliability:
  • Equipped with pressure gauge taps for upstream and downstream pressure checks.
  • Reliability tested over 25,000 cycles with pressure variations from 0 to 16 bar.
  • Headloss is lower than standard requirements.
  • Can be mounted horizontally or vertically upwards.

Anticorrosion Protection:
  • Components include bronze disc and seat, stainless steel spring.
  • Epoxy coating applied by cataphoresis and powder.

Easy Maintenance:
  • Features a removable cap for maintenance without dismantling.

Conformity to Standards:
  • NF EN 16 767, NF E 29-305-1 to ISO 5752, NF EN 1717, and NF EN 13 959.
  • Holds the NF ANTIPOLLUTION mark.

Technical Data:
  • Available in DN 50 to 250.
  • PN 16 pressure rating.
  • Temperature limits from +10°C to +60°C, with backflow maximum temperature of +90°C.
  • Drilling options include ISO PN10 and ISO PN16 on request.

Applications:
Primarily used in drinkable water networks to prevent backflow due to pressure drops or back pressure from non-potable water networks.

Operation:
The valve maintains a minimum pressure differential of 0.10 mWC, ensuring watertightness by closing the shutter mechanism if downstream pressure exceeds upstream pressure.

Materials:
  • Body and bonnet made of ductile iron.
  • Valve holder and seat made of bronze.
  • Spring made of steel AISI 302.

Installation and Maintenance:
  • Requires upstream and downstream isolating valves and a cleanable filter with a drain valve for maintenance.
  • Should be installed in an accessible inspection manhole with sufficient clearance for testing and repairs.
  • Installation can be horizontal or vertical, with pipe cleaning recommended before installation.

Hydraulic Features:
Includes headloss curve and flowrate data for various DN sizes, ensuring efficient water flow control.

Company Information:
BAYARD, part of TALIS, offers comprehensive solutions for water and energy management, with a wide range of products for the entire water cycle.

NOREPOL EA-1

NOREPOL EA check valve Series H1 10 Designed to protect drinking water networks from backflow of polluted water due to : - a pressure drop in the network - a back pressure from a potentially non potable water network. Description • Standard local authority sanitary regulations (art.16.1) make it obligatory for owners of installations, which are potentially dangerous, to protect public drinking water network and the internal network from the risk of the backflow of polluted water, this being by means of an approved and regularly maintained device. • Reliability: - an be checked with pressure gauge taps (upstream and downstream C pressure), - eliability tested on 25000 cycles of opening/closing with a pressure R variation of 0 to 16 bar, - Headloss lower than the standard’s requirements, - Mounting horizontal or vertical upwards only. • Anticorrosion protection: - Sub set disc and seat in bronze, spring made of stainless steel, - Epoxy coating by cataphoresis + powder. • Easy maintenance: - Equipped with a removable cap, - Maintenance in situ without dismantling. • Conformity to standards: - NF EN 16 767. - NF E 29-305-1 to ISO 5752 face-to-face dimensions. - NF EN 1717 and NF EN 13 959 • NF ANTIPOLLUTION mark. Technical data • DN 50 to 250. • PN 16. • Temperatures limits : +10°C to +60°C. (backflow maximale temperature +90°C). • Drilling: ISO PN10, ISO PN16 on request. Applications • Drinkable water networks.

NOREPOL EA check valve 8 Holder valve Guide stem Steel or bronze acc.to DN Antiscaling tube Pressure gauges PTFE, copper-alloy, plastic Drain cock Nickel-plated brass+POM The Norepol consists of a body (1) with pressure gauge taps (9) and closed by a bonnet (2). A shutter mecanism (7), complete preset assembly integral with the cap, with return spring (8), defines an upstream and a downstream zone. Operation The valve under pressure from its spring creates a minimum pressure differential in excess of 0.10 mWC, in conformity with standard NF EN 16 767. This means when, in operation, the downstream...

NOREPOL EA-3

NOREPOL EA check valve Hydraulic features Headloss curve * VE = Equivalent Speed = Average Speed in the inlet section The Norepol check valve is in direct relation with health safety requiring an upstream isolating valve. A downstream isolating valave and a cleanable filter with drain valve are recommended for easy maintenance. The whole assembly must be located in an accessible inspection manhole. There should be sufficient clearance around the Norepol to permit tests for watertightness, repairs, installation and dismantling operations without any difficulty. The manhole should be easily accessible....
