METEOR DATASHEET METEOR WIDE TOLERANCE FLANGE ADAPTOR Enables the jointing of pipes and flanges of different materials and outside diameters. Description: • Wide tolerance: on average 25mm. • Small number of models to cover a Nominal diameter. • Reliability Guaranteed leak-tightness by compressing the gasket between the end rings and the sleeve onto the pipe. Optimal protection against corrosion: epoxy powder coating (min. 250µm) and stainless steel nuts and bolts. • Easy and fast installation: Angular deflection of ± 6°. The user must ensure that adequate external restraint to the pipework is provided. Not recommended for PE pipes. Prior to installation:  Check if the quality of the EPDM gasket and coating of the flange adaptor are suitable for the conveyed medium.  During storage (1 year maximum), the Meteor flange adaptor must be protected from any adverse weather and pollution in its original packaging so as to protect it against aggressive conditions (the sun's rays and the heat), to avoid any deterioration of the elastomers and the coating.
