Description
The BAYARD Series F1 10 single orifice air valve includes a 1/4 turn ball valve with a lockable square cap, a built-in operation controller, and is constructed from ductile iron with a powder epoxy and cataphoresis coating. It features stainless steel bolts and operates at a minimum pressure of 0.1 bar, conforming to the EN 1074 - 4 standard.

Technical Data
The valve is available in two types: Type 102 (PN 16 and 25) and Type 150 (PN 25 and 40), with sizes ranging from DN 40 to 80 and a 1” male BSP model. It supports maximal working pressures of PN 16, 25, and 40, and temperature limits from +1 °C to +70 °C. Flange drilling complies with EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2 standards, and the BSP profile thread adheres to ISO 228-1 and NF E03-005 standards.

Applications
This air valve is suitable for drinking water networks, fire protection networks, and irrigation networks.

Tests
The product undergoes full testing according to ISO 5208-2 standards.

Materials
The valve components are made from materials such as ductile iron, nickel-plated brass, elastomer/EPDM, steel coated with EPDM, polyamide, and non-de-zincifiable brass, conforming to various EN standards.

Operation
The valve operates by closing the evacuation orifice when no air is present, due to water pressure on the float. If air pockets fill the valve, the float moves downwards to open the orifice. A built-in stopcock allows for isolation during maintenance.

Installation
The unit must be installed vertically at the highest point, along ascending/descending pipelines at regular intervals (at least every 500 meters), and downstream of control valves on descending pipelines.

Lockable Square Cap
The lockable square cap prevents untimely operations by allowing the isolating valve to be locked in open or closed positions.

Discharge Capacity
Flow rates vary by type and pressure, with Type 102 (PN 16) having a flow rate of 0.50 l/s and Type 150 (PN 25) having a flow rate of 0.95 l/s.
