The VU series broaching machines are designed as supplemental equipment for impact testing, specifically for broaching U or V notches in test specimens. These machines are noted for their easy operation and high efficiency, conforming to standards such as ASTM E23 and ISO148.
Specifications
- VU-1S and VU-2D Models: The VU-1S is manually driven, while the VU-2D is motor electric. Both models can broach V or U notches of 2mm on specimens with dimensions of 10x10 (7.5, 5)x55 mm. The VU-2D has a travel speed of 2.5m/min and a blade stroke of 340mm, powered by 380V 500W. The VU-1S has a blade stroke of 350mm and weighs 100kg, whereas the VU-2D weighs 150kg.
- VU-2Y and VU-2YL Models: These models use a hydraulic pump for driving. The VU-2Y can broach V and U notches of 2mm, while the VU-2YL can handle U notches of 2, 3, and 5mm. Both models accommodate specimens of 10x10 (7.5, 5)x55 mm. The VU-2Y has a travel speed of 2.0m/min and a blade stroke of 340mm, while the VU-2YL has a travel speed of 2.5m/min and a blade stroke of 380mm. Both are powered by 380V, 60HZ 500W, with the VU-2Y weighing 200kg and the VU-2YL weighing 270kg.
Additional Features
All models come with two blades for U and V types, with extra blades available as spare parts. The VU-1S standard includes one blade.
