Portable Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge TT340
The Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge TT340 is designed for measuring the thickness of various materials, including cast iron and steel. It has a measuring range of 5.0mm to 40.0mm for cast iron and 5.0mm to 300.0mm for steel. The device operates within a temperature range of -10℃ to +60℃ and has a display resolution that can be selected between 0.1mm and 0.01inch. The measuring accuracy is ±1% of the thickness plus 0.1mm, and it supports sound velocities from 1000m/s to 9999m/s. The gauge is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries, providing a battery life of 100 hours without backlight. It measures 152mm x 74mm x 35mm and weighs 370g.
The device includes two transducers: the 5Pφ10 with a measuring range of 1.2mm to 225.0mm for steel, a contact area diameter of 10mm, and a frequency of 5 MHz; and the TSTU32 with a measuring range of 5.0mm to 300.0mm for steel, a contact area diameter of 22mm, and a frequency of 2 MHz. Both transducers operate within the same temperature range as the main unit.
The TT340 is a handheld thickness gauge that is easy to use and suitable for both metallic and non-metallic materials. It can display either the current thickness or the minimum thickness, with a memory capacity for 500 stored values. The device supports two-point calibration and can display measurements in either millimeters or inches. It features an LCD display with adjustable backlight and a low battery indicator.
The standard package includes the main unit, two transducers (5PФ10 and TSTU32), a rubber jacket, ultrasonic coupling, two AA batteries, a screwdriver, an instruction manual, a TIME certificate, a warranty card, and a carrying case.
An additional TSTU32 transducer is available as an optional accessory.
