Diameters below recommendation, usually reduce the service life of the belt due to an increased number of bending cycles, that accelerates material fatigue. Our minimum pulley diameter indications are based on the neutral layer of the belt, at 180° wrap angle. This is the contact angle, on which the belt is guided around the pulley.
