Beck. The adjustable differential pressure switches in Ex zones

Product catalog summary

Overview: The document details the specifications and applications of the Beck 930..Ex Climair® adjustable differential pressure switch, designed for use in explosive zones (Ex zones 1, 2, 21, and 22). It is suitable for monitoring overpressure, vacuum, and differential pressure of air or other non-combustible, non-aggressive gases.

Applications: The switch is used in various applications such as monitoring air filters and ventilators, industrial cooling-air circuits, fan heater overheating protection, ventilation duct flow monitoring, controlling air and fire-protection flaps, and frost protection for heat exchangers.

Specifications:

Temperature Range: Medium and ambient temperature from -20°C to +85°C; storage temperature from -40°C to +85°C.
Housing Materials: Plastic switch body and cover.
Diaphragm Material: Silicone, free of gas emissions.
Electrical Rating: Max. 100 mA / 24 VAC, 30 mA / 24VDC.
Mechanical Working Life: Over 10⁶ switching operations.
Protection: IP 54 with cover; Protection class II.

Conformity and Safety: The switch complies with ATEX and EU RoHS Directives, suitable for Ex zones with specific ignition protection types. It requires an isolating means in safe areas to maintain inherent safety.

Pressure Connections: Two plastic pipe connection pieces (P1 and P2) for higher and lower pressure connections, respectively.

Switching Pressure Ranges: Various models offer different pressure ranges and switching differentials, from 20 Pa to 5000 Pa.

Accessories: A variety of mounting brackets and Climaset® kits are available, including metal and plastic brackets, PVC and silicone hoses, and additional components for installation.

Warnings: Installation must comply with applicable regulations, and instructions should be read before use.
