The default LAN IP address should be 192.168.1.243. If altered, it must be reset in the configuration panel.
Users should note their Public IP for remote access. A fixed public IP is recommended, but dynamic DNS can be used if unavailable.
Ensure the MQTT broker is operational by pinging it from a different network. Port 1883 should be free for use.
Connect the BeanDevice® locally using TCP, configure MQTT settings, and validate network settings using BeanScape® software.
BeanScape® RA allows remote subscription to BeanDevice® data, involving setting the Broker IP and port, enabling MQTT, and validating the BeanDevice profile.
If factory settings are restored, connect via Ethernet to configure the access point, disable AirMax, and set security settings to WPA2-AES.
Set the WPA Authentication to PSK with the preshared key 'beanair2019'. Ensure MAC ACL is disabled.
Set the network mode to Bridge, configure the IP address management to Static with the IP address 192.168.1.20 and Gateway IP 192.168.1.1.
Upload the latest Bullet M2 HP firmware from the Ubiquiti or Beanair websites.
Access the LTE Router, configure internal and external WIFI AP settings, and ensure proper encryption.
Enable the MQTT Broker using Local Port 1883 and enable Remote Access.
