The system is designed with user-friendliness in mind, both for integration in industrial settings and in research laboratories, where raw data and/or processed data can be easily exported and visualized for post-processing in Matlab, Excel, Python or similar. The robust and established TDLAS technology provides fast (50 µs) and highly sensitive (PPB-levels) gas analysis. The TDLAS technology is also inherently self-referencing and calibration-free, requiring little to no maintenance. The system can measure many common gases found in the industry and laboratories, and greenhouse gases such as methane (CH4). Other commonly analysed gases include O2, CO2, CO, NOx, HF, H2S and HCl, as well as hydrocarbons. The highly energy-efficient design allows the BM-H-3 to run for hours on batteries, thus being well suited of providing mobile remote sensing at locations where there is no access to external power. It can also relay information wirelessly. The calibration-free gas detection system is highly durable for use in heavy industries and extremely robust to harsh environments.
