The filter media is obtained by winding around the internal core several polypropylene layers, having different porosity and permeability from external to internal; the outer section retains larger particles while the inner section provides filtration rating with efficiency of 99,98%. The different consistency of the layers allows to manufacture cartridges with filtration ratings larger than 10 microns. TOPLIFE TPR with external cage is recommended in presence of pulsation flow or operating temperature above 50°C. The high chemical compatibility of the polypropylene allows the use both in industrial general applications and Food&Beverage applications; PH grade, prefluxed with non-pyrogenic water and with certification of quality, is available for pharmaceutical applications.
