For bags other than size #2, delta P is calculated by multiplying the correction factor by the bag size and viscosity correction factors. The correction factors vary based on bag size and liquid viscosity.

The pressure drop graph indicates delta P for a #2 size bag with water at 1 cps and 68°F. The maximum delta P is 1.5 bar, excluding housing and basket pressure drops.

Compatibility
The compatibility of fibers with various chemicals is summarized as follows:

Polyester: Very good with weak acids, good with strong acids and solvents, poor with strong alkali, max temperature 300°F.
Nylon: Fair with weak acids, poor with strong acids, excellent with alkalis, good with solvents, max temperature 300°F.
