Main Features
The SDB Series is a digital converter designed for sinusoidal brushless motors, offering high dynamic response suitable for various applications. Key features include resolver auto phasing, automatic current loop gain calibration, and resolver resolution self-adjustment for precision across speed ranges. It supports configurable simulated encoder output and includes a monitor software for parameter setting and monitoring.
Fieldbus and Special Functions
The drive includes electrical gearing, master/slave functions, and a multipositioner with 12 programmable positions. It offers programmable profiles, a digital potentiometer for frequency input, and step motor function with position loop control. Communication is facilitated through RS485/RS232 serial interface with Modbus protocol.
Options
Available options include CAN BUS and PROFIBUS DP interfaces, opto-isolated simulated encoder output, RS232/485 adapter for PC, remote keypad for parameter setting, and clamping resistors.
Power Specifications
The drive features a built-in clamping circuit, output frequency range of 0 to 400 Hz, and diagnostic capabilities via display or serial line. It includes a soft-start circuit and supports an AC voltage supply range of 3 x 200 Vac to 440 Vac ±10%.
Control and Regulation
The SDB Series offers full digital regulation with independent ramps in four quadrants, eight opto-isolated configurable digital inputs, and three programmable speed references. It supports analog and digital inputs for speed, torque, and current limit references, along with four opto-isolated digital outputs and two programmable analog outputs.
Technical Data
The series includes models with rated currents ranging from 3 A to 22 A and peak currents from 6 A to 44 A. The environment temperature range is 0 to 45°C. Dimensions vary by model, with heights of 310 mm and depths of 240 mm. The nominal voltage supply is 3 x 200 Vac to 3 x 440 Vac ±10%, with a line frequency of 50 to 60 Hz ±5%.
